Et par kig på de få artikler på FC Basels forum, så er der ikke mange der har skrevet på det:

I also wish Blas Riveros all the best with his new employer.
For FC Basel that was the only right decision; it didn't fit.
This departure should also be understandable for us outsiders.

Yes, I'll see that in a moment. As a LV he showed too great weaknesses in defensive behavior. Offensive he was much better. It is a shame that he was not forced into midfield.

It is a shame that Riveros was not used properly. Offensive, he would have had potential.


I always find all departures a shame. This is especially the case now with Riveros and Campo.
Riveros also had defensive qualities. What I particularly appreciated about him was the fact that he brought practically every ball that was captured on the outside back to a teammate despite being harassed by opponents. And some remaining players could learn something from his energy and commitment.

Riveros also has his strength not in the defensive but clearly in the offensive. As an LM he would certainly be a very good alternative to Pululu. I never got it, which is why the coaches almost always left him in defense
